WordPress Sync Plugin v2.3.0

New

Version 2.3.0 of our WordPress Sync plugin. You can upgrade in your WordPress admin dashboard.

This release includes a number of fixes:

  • When your feed can’t be refreshed, you’ll see an error and the “last updated” time won’t change.
  • New versions of PHP no longer show a deprecation warning.
  • Hosts that lack the fileinfo extension will no longer cause a sync to crash when loading artwork.
  • Invalid categories and tags are no longer saved when no categories or tags are selected.

There are some new features as well:

  • Timecodes in your show notes link the player to that time.
  • The UI of the Pinecast settings page is now cleaner and follows the design patterns of WordPress more closely.
  • Posts now display episode chapters.
