Upload your own transcripts

One final transcript-related update that snuck out just after we updated our change log!

If an episode hasn’t been transcribed, you’ll now be able to upload your own VTT, SRT, or SBV transcript file. We’ll parse your transcript and add it to our system.

If your file contains VTT voice tags (like <v Your Name>), we’ll automatically set the names of each speaker in Pinecast.

All of the same features you know and expect from our transcript editor and from our transcript delivery will work out-of-the-box: flair, hosted transcripts, captions in players, the transcript editor, and tags in your feeds.
